The Void

Reaching, striving, for more, never seeming to find the one thing that would fill the void that widened each day.

Work.

Women.

Nothing had worked; nothing had filled the endless void inside. It appeared he had everything that a man could want. Some would trade anything to be in his place.

While, he'd give anything to fill the all-consuming emptiness, looking at the clock he groaned, closing his eyes.

Two hours before he turned into a waiter at the party, hopefully he'd be able to break the case, saving agents lives.

Maybe tomorrow something would fill the void.

*****

Oh!

The door closed and Lee immediately pushed her onto the bed. "Oh!"

"I've been waiting for two days to make love."

Grabbing his tie she pulled him down towards her kissing him passionately.

Clothes were thrown off.

His cock throbbed; he needed to be deep inside her.

Looking down he saw the moisture gathering at her waiting lips.

They were both ready for consummation

This time would be fast. They had all night together.

Amanda took control and squirmed until she had the dominant position

She lowered herself onto his hard cock.

"Oh," was the only word he could utter.

*****

Quickie

She'd watched him all evening in the sexy tuxedo.

Dancing.

Flirting.

Not with her. Damn assignment.

It was hot. The doors to the balcony were open. She stepped outside.

A hand wrapped around her waist and drew her into the darkness.

His lips claimed hers.

No one could see as he lifted her onto the ledge and spread her legs.

She unzipped his pants.

Freeing his erection.

Her legs locked around his waist.

Digging her heals into his ass she made their bodies into one.

A quickie was all they had time for.

It would have to do, until later.

*****

Matchmaker

"Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match." Billy softly sang.

Drawing the blinds closed he grinned, at the possessive hand on Amanda's back.

Things were progressing nicely.

All the signs were there, just a little longer and all of his efforts would be rewarded.

Small rewards drifted in.

Scarecrows' change in attitude being the biggest reward for him personally.

The bottle of antacids that resided on his desk took longer to go through these days.

His head no longer hurt after being subjected to reading one of Scarecrows' reports.

Yes, the match between Scarecrow and Amanda was a very fine match.

The Picture

"No, absolutely not! I will not wear TIGHTS!" Lee shook his head.

"Lee, it's a costume picture shop we have to choose something to get our picture taken in." Amanda pulled him down the next aisle of options.

"Yes, I know but I'm sure we can find something that doesn't include me wearing tights." Lee pointed to a display in the back of the room. "How about that one?"

"It's perfect!" Amanda rushed forward grabbing her part.

Twenty minutes later they walked out with their first picture together since thewedding.

"You make a wonderful, Ms Kitty to my Marshall Dillon."

Decisions

Is he The One?

The kids like him.

Mother likes him.

I like him but do I love him.

Am I even ready for where this could be leading?

We went out to dinner last night just the two of us.

The moments of silence were deafening, uncomfortable.

Shouldn't there be comfort in times of quiet?

Something is missing.

Maybe it's in me.

Am I giving this everything I have?

Is this for the kids or me; I have to take them into account.

He's leaving tomorrow on the train.

Time, its time to make decisions the right decision.

*****

Control and Logic

It wasn't Christmas, so why was he following her. Claiming love and affection, in his drunken haze.

How did she get the privilege of attracting the nutcase?

It's not like she sought him out or was even nice.

Walking the opposite direction of the enamored agent, she looked for an escape.

This was worse than most missions. At least then she was in control, knowing the reason for the actions of herself and others, for the most part.

This situation lacked those key elements.

Logic.

Control.

Her mission was clear. Find the reason and then she'd be in control.

*****

Future

He paced.

Ran his fingers through his hair.

Being still wasn't an option.

Things were changing way too fast.

He hadn't planned this.

The future opened before him.

All he had to do was choose his path.

Did he go under without contacting her?

It would put her in danger, yet he couldn't leave without telling her.

Of all the things in his life this was one of the certainties.

He loved her.

He couldn't leave without telling her.

She had to know.

Grabbing the payphone he dialed T.P's number.

"Let me talk to Amanda."

*****

Mornings

I bustled about the cheery kitchen preparing breakfast for my family.

I could hear the mental groans coming from my grandsons.

They're not morning people.

While, I'm most definitely a morning person, after all it's the best part of the day.

Everything was new and fresh, the sun peeking over the horizon casting a soft glow through the kitchen window.

I think I'll move breakfast outside today. Let everyone enjoy the peaceful morning before the rush of the day commences.

Picking up the plates, I head outside to the gazebo.

Inhaling the fresh air, looking forward to another new day.

The Perfect Gift

Why did I start this stupid bet, it would’ve been easy if we hadn’t bet on who could buy the perfect Anniversary gift.

Really, I love my husband but for years he bought people scarves so I figured this would be easy.

Now I’m wandering the mall with four hours until deadline with nothing.

There isn’t one store I haven’t looked in. Nothing fits the perfect bill.

Browsing past the massage area, which would feel nice, my eye sees it the perfect gift, I’ve won.

Walking up I wait for the attendant, I’d like to purchase a one hour couples message.

*****

I walked quickly towards the bright light, freedom just moments away. All
remains silent.

I’d spent the last five days in the boat hull getting meager supplies my captors
would share; plotting my escape.

Today my chance arrived; I freed some wood and slid in to jam the door when they
brought it my meal. With a rap on the guards head, I made my escape.

I’ve been eating the rations; it’ll give me enough strength to swim back to
shore, back to my family.

I love you all is my last thought as I plunge into the water.

*****

Five days and here I rest. The waiting endless; the boys and mom not making the
situation any easier to bear.

I should be able to do something! Anything, instead I sit here feeling useless.
It was supposed to have been so easy. Of course with us, nothing is ever
simple.

I’ve contacted everyone I can. I know little useful information, I’m not giving
up.

We haven’t finally become a family to lose it now. We’ll find each other; we
always have, when everyone else said it was impossible.

I swear I heard I love you as my eyes closed.
