Chapter 12 - Cheryl by Friday Challenge

As he climbed the TREE his JEANS snagged on a branch. He pulled it free and continued to his hiding place. He'd spend the night if he had to. He had all that he needed, a BATHROBE, flashlight, comic books and even a CANDLE, he was prepared.

"Lee, where are you?" His mom's voice carried up to the TREE house he'd secretly built. "Mrs. Johnson is leaving."

No way. He wasn't coming down. If he did, he'd get his cheeks pinched. Why did old ladies always have to do pinch cheeks? Then they'd say, "you have such cute DIMPLES."

"Ugh."
