Finger Licking Good
Lee stood among the budding flowers in Dotty's garden and peeked into the kitchen window of the white cape code on Maplewood Drive. Amanda was seated at the table in the breakfast nook. A mass of cup cakes in front of her. Some of them were naked, while some of them were already covered in blue frosting, packed and ready to go to the school bake sale.
He knew they'd be delicious and he hope she'd bring him some. He licked his lips in anticipation and tapped on the window. She turned and smiled at him. Putting down her knife, her tongue snaked out to scoop up a bit of icing off her finger. She washed her hands, snagged two cup cakes and some napkins before coming out to join him in the yard.
